A Place for You at Bethany

Bethany not made up of buildings and property. That just happens to be where we gather. Bethany is made up of people. From all walks of life. Each with something to offer. Each has something to bring to the group. Something unique to each individual, but needed by all.

You have a place here as well. As you understand how God has uniquely created you and made you special, He has given you something to give to others. Something of yourself that is needed here.

Whether you love to help people, teach, pray for others, give from the resources God has blessed you with, organize ministry teams, show hospitality or share God's healing power with people in need — your gifts are needed here. At Bethany, we believe that “every member is a minister.”

Listed below are just some of the places where you could plug in and make a difference.

• Prayer
• Facilities/maintenance (on our ten and a half acre property, there is no shortage of painting/cleaning/repairing/gardening/etc to get involved in! We like to say that keeping up Bethany's buildings and grounds is like painting the Golden Gate Bridge -- as soon as you finish at one end, it's time to start over at the other end!)
• Sunday School Teacher
• Hospitality/food service
• Visitation
• Evangelism
• Barista at our Coffee Bar, the Connection Café
• Greeting or Ushering as part of our First Impressions team

This list is by no means exhaustive. If you have gifts, or talents and skills and abilities, that God has given you — use them! They are needed. Talk to any of the staff at Bethany. They will be glad to help you find a place to make a difference.
